Here is what I am
fighting for:

Homes we can afford. Too many of our neighbours are one rent increase away from having to leave. I will stand up for tenants, respect homeowners, and make sure working families, seniors, newcomers and young people can afford to stay in Scarborough Southwest.

• I will fight renovictions and push for stronger bylaws so tenants are not forced out of their homes
• I will support affordable and nonprofit housing in every neighbourhood
• I will push RentSafeTO to enforce standards and support tenants here in Ward 20
• I will back responsible development that adds homes while respecting the feel of our streets
• I will fight for universal childcare, because for families it is an affordability issue, plain and simple

Buses that show up on Kingston Road and the Danforth. Streets where kids can get to school and the bus stop without worry. After years of construction and broken promises, that is not too much to ask.

• I will push the TTC for more frequent, reliable buses on the routes we actually use
• I will demand transparency and accountability on the Eglinton corridor. No more excuses
• I will expand Vision Zero safety upgrades at busy intersections and school zones
• I will work for safer routes to schools and transit stops for our kids and families
• I will fight for better sidewalks, ramps and elevators so seniors and people with disabilities can get around
• I will advocate for more WheelTrans service and fully accessible stations

A neighbourhood that looks cared for. When garbage gets dumped in a park or a property falls apart, it should not take months to fix. Our streets and public spaces should be clean, in every corner of Ward 20.

• I will push for bylaw enforcement that actually solves problems, and solves them quickly
• I will fight for regular, reliable maintenance of our streets, parks and public spaces
• I will demand faster response to illegal dumping, litter and graffiti
• I will keep our roads, sidewalks and community facilities in good repair, in every neighbourhood

Our fair share. Scarborough Southwest pays into this city, and it is time the city paid attention. I will champion more jobs, recreation, skills training and community programs, so every family and every young person here gets a fair shot.

• I will bring employment services and job fairs right into the ward
• I will support youth mentorship, vocational training and apprenticeships
• I will expand access to the skilled trades through partnerships with unions and training centres
• I will team up with local businesses, nonprofits and grassroots groups
• I will turn our libraries into true community hubs with programs for all ages
• I will push for city services in the languages we speak, with Community Resource Hubs that handle everything in one visit
• I will invest in cultural centres that reflect Ward 20’s incredible diversity
• I will push for crisis response and mental health support that is there around the clock
• I will fight to close the gap between what downtown gets and what Scarborough gets
