Toronto contribution rebates
Your support can go further.
Our campaign participates in Toronto’s Contribution Rebate Program. Eligible monetary contributions totalling more than CA$25 may qualify for a rebate.
After donating, get your official Contribution Rebate Receipt and Application Form from the campaign, then submit your claim to the City. A Stripe payment confirmation does not replace that form.
Read the City’s rebate rules| You give | Rebate* | Cost after rebate* |
|---|---|---|
| $50 | $37.50 | $12.50 |
| $100 | $75 | $25 |
| $250 | $187.50 | $62.50 |
| $500 | $325 | $175 |
| $1,200 | $641.67 | $558.33 |
*Examples assume this is your total giving to participating campaigns. Eligibility and City approval apply. The City calculates your rebate across all participating candidates.
Submit your claim by December 30, 2027, at 4:30 p.m. The City expects 2026 election rebates to begin in early 2028.

The CA$1,200 limit applies to your total contributions to this campaign, including earlier card payments, e-transfers, cash, goods, and services. You can contribute up to CA$5,000 in total to candidates running for Toronto council.
City of Toronto campaign contribution rulesHow is my information used?
Your name, home address, email, and contribution details are used to process your donation and maintain campaign records. Stripe handles card information.
If your total contributions to a candidate exceed CA$100, your name, address, contribution amount, and the candidate you supported are published by the City as part of election financial disclosure.
Stripe privacy policyWhat happens after I donate?

If your payment is declined, follow Stripe’s instructions or try another card. If you are unsure whether a payment went through, contact the campaign before trying again.
